About Miss Thurston

I graduated from Butler University in Indianapolis, Indiana Cum Laude with a B.S. in Elementary Education with High Honors in May of 2009.  This will be my first year teaching, and I am so excited to begin my teaching career at Old Town! I will be getting married in December to my high school sweetheart, Brandon.  Brandon is currently pursuing his Master’s in Professional Accounting at the University of Texas.  When I am not teaching I enjoy cooking, playing tennis, running, practicing yoga, reading, shopping, being outside, and listening to country music!  I have two older sisters and four nephews who I adore!
